朝外與朝內

在眾多思想體系當中，主張自覺的[唯識宗]認為，在心識的同一運作過程中有兩個面向：涉及對境的朝外面向，以及體驗本質的朝內面向。

Outward and Inward Facing

One of the systems [chittamātra] that asserts self-awareness posits two aspects in one and the same process of consciousness - an outward-facing aspect that relates to objects and an inward-facing aspect that experiences the essence.
