竹清嘉措心要語 40

八自在之了悟現前

如是甚深自在八實相，依於薛巴多傑悲智光，

遍計黯昧原處自解力，略釋八自在之甚深義。

以此祈願自他有情眾，本智皓日燦然而光耀，

盡除奧義蒙昧之黑暗，八自在之了悟願現前。

密勒日巴道歌〈八自在〉釋論，西元1991年夏季，堪布竹清嘉措仁波切作於「洛磯山佛法中心」。

Manifest the 8 Kinds of Mastery

Thus, these are the eight kinds of mastery
     related to the profound abiding nature.
The light of Shepa Dorje's knowledge
     and kindness
Liberates the darkness of imputations
     in its own place;
Through the power of which, I have
     summarized the profound meaning
     of the eight kinds of mastery.

Through this, may I and all sentient beings,
Who are in dark confusion about the
     profound key points,
Be illuminated by the sun of wisdom
And manifest the realization of the
     eight kinds of mastery.
