竹清嘉措心要語 30

寬廣的虛空

以大苦行令上師歡喜，以大精進禪修甚深義，

於八自在了悟得現前，聖者薛巴多傑足前禮。

如無邊中寬廣虛空中，聚集無有上下之星球，

以及情器一切之顯相，離戲心性境亦攝萬法。

密勒日巴道歌〈八自在〉釋論，西元1991年夏季，堪布竹清嘉措仁波切作於「洛磯山佛法中心」。

The Open Expanse of Space

I pay homage to the great being,
     Shepa Dorje,
Who pleased the guru through great
     austerities
And who, through the force of meditating with
    great diligence on the profound nature,
Manifested the realization of the eight
    kinds of mastery.

The spacious expanse of space, which is
    without center or end,
Contains the worlds and so forth, which
    have neither top nor bottom,
As well as all the appearances of the
     environment and beings.
In the same way, the expanse of mind-itself,
     which is beyond all elaborations,
     contains all phenomena.
