以詮說文字，詮無可詮實相；

以有所緣法，於無可緣鬆坦。

我們在此所用的文字是解說的文字。我們用這些文字試圖要說明的是什麼呢？我們想要談的是基本上無法以文字表達的東西。關於這一點，還有相當多要說的。

西元1991年夏季，堪布竹清嘉措仁波切於「洛磯山佛法中心」解說《了義海》時宣說。

Words

Through talking and words one talks of the  
      nature which cannot be put into words.
Through focal techniques one comes to 
      relax in that which cannot be focused on.

The words we have been using here have been words of explanation. What is it we have been trying to say with all these words? We are attempting to talk about that which ultimately cannot be expressed in words. We still have quite a lot to say about it [laughs].
